Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital is a 260 bedded (in the process to expand to 300 beds) tertiary care hospital located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Aurangabad has long been known for its two most famous heritage sites - Ajanta & Ellora caves, along with other historic and religious landmarks. Now Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital adds to that list.

Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital is run and funded by MMRI (Marathwada Medical Research Institute) Charitable Trust, a body founded by a group of leading doctors and noted Industrialists of the city and hospital is run with high ethics and values.

It is a center of excellence where specialists trained in the best centers in India and abroad would find an ideal working environment and patients - 'a home away from home' and paramedical staff, a place to enjoy working and get ample opportunity for development of their skills.

The hospital is at the forefront of medical technology and expertise and provides a complete range of latest diagnostic, medical, surgical equipment and advanced procedural facilities including open heart surgeries and organ transplantation (Kidney). The hospital has been providing annually relief for close to 55,000 patients on OPD basis and close to 7,000 patients, who are admitted to hospital for various treatments. It also provides intensive care unit and cardiac care unit, with a capacity of 30 beds and generally with an occupancy rate of more than 95%.

The hospital also runs a programme of providing free treatment and care to Below Poverty Line (BPL) and to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the society with subsidized treatment. Hospital with the help of JBGVS (Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha), an NGO has conducted 99 camps in the villages of the district of Aurangabad where more than 8900 patients have been checked and given treatment and medicines free and out of these 2356 patients needing further treatment at hospital were treated totally free as in patients at the hospital. In addition to this, 1470 IPF patients approached the Hospital directly and availed free treatment during the current year from April 2011 till Jan. 2012. It is proposed to cover all 570 villages of District by May 2012.

Kamalnayan Bajaj Nursing College is another wing of MMRI (Marathwada Medical & Research Institute) which has started 4 years B.Sc Nursing degree course from the year 2010. This Nursing College is approved by Indian Nursing Council, Maharashtra Nursing Council and affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. College has intake capacity of 50 students.

The theme of the institution is to train boys and girls to be excellent & value based nursing care professionals and compassionate human beings possessing technical, practical knowledge and attitude.
