The Department of Neurology focuses on diseases involving the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. Our specialized care covers a range of conditions, including Stroke, Epilepsy, Headache, Dementia, Brain tumors, Movement disorders and Neuromuscular disorders. Additionally, we offer Neurointervention for acute stroke care.
Procedure Details:
- EEG (Electroencephalogram): This includes Routine, Bedside and Video EEG to assess electrical activity in the brain.
- Electroneuromyography & Nerve Conduction Study (EMG and NCS): These procedures evaluate nerve and muscle function.
- Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP): Testing the electrical signals from the eyes to the brain.
- Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials (BAEP): Assessing auditory nerve and brainstem function.
- Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP): Evaluating sensory nerve pathway function.
